Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer
Reactron Bangladesh Private Limited
Tanvir has a wide array of engineering skills and all these align around one single theme – bringing sustainable engineering from book to life and building a network of tech-minds.
Even during his undergraduate life at the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering of Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), he was an advocate of safety-engineering, writing on marine safety for journal, conference and media.
He took no time to climb the career ladder, designing a handful of specialized vessels shortly after his graduation. His ship still reaches out to any shipwreck for rescue in Bangladesh.
Later, he flew to Singapore where he served the country’s top engineering company for four years and a half and worked in a variety type of world-class projects such as Gas Treatment, Liquefaction and Regasification Plant, FPSO (Floating Platform for Storage and Offloading) and FSO (Floating Storage and Offloading), Offshore Power Plant, Drilling Rig, Heavy Lifting Vessel, and other specialized vessels.
Apart from his specialization in the field of Piping and Safety System Engineering as well as Project Planning, he also explored the field of Structural Engineering, Machinery System, and Project Management.
In addition, HVAC Engineering, Machine Design, and Renewable Energy fall under the purview of his interest. He has served the industries of Oil & Gas, Offshore Power Plant, Shipbuilding, and Renewable Energy.
With his experiences in dealing with global clients like Statoil, MODEC, Maersk, Petrobras, Heerema, PolyGCL, Noble Corporation, etc., he came back to Bangladesh – a deed considered as unconventional – with a view to catalyzing the country’s engineering revolution and sharing his knowledge with tomorrow’s engineers.
